Week 2

This week is going to be another short one for most students as many are giving the Weet-bix Tryathlon a go on Wednesday  Weet-bix packs will be handed out over the next 2 days.

The class also has a visit to Hastings Sports Park on Friday as part of the IWay safe cycling programme.  Make sure the permission slips are returned promptly.


In the classroom, we will be working on 

• the Kia Kaha programme.
• starting up guided reading.
• identifying and using language features.
• maths - time (calendars and telling the time)
• maths number knowledge - testing.

IMPORTANT:

'Meet the Teacher' takes place on Wednesday evening.

The children have their Google accounts sorted and have been working on an "All About Me" Presentation.  Ask them to share if you have internet access at home.

Voting for the House Leaders took place this afternoon.  All leaders shared a brief introduction before their House Teams voted.
