This week we have -
- Progressive Achievement Tests (PATs) on Monday and Tuesday.
- School Swimming Sports on Wednesday from 1pm
- Mid-Term Assembly on Friday from 2pm.
- Te reo and Kapa Haka programmes beginning.
- Music/Choir programmes beginning.
Also the Candidate Teachers will be running short sessions on PE skills with groups of children from Room 6 - starting Tuesday and continuing over the next 3 weeks.
In maths, we will be learning to use a range of addition and subtraction strategies.
In language, we continue to learn to write reports with a focus on using the '3rd person' and past tense.
Some children have already started creating their own blogs using Blogger and the rest of the class should be up and running by the end of the week.
Remember that homework consists of reading ( & reading log completion), spelling and maths knowledge. If you are not sure about any of these, please contact me at school or david@haumoana.school.nz
